WIDEawake Entertainment Launches New Studio

On Tuesday March 2nd, 2010, WIDEawake Entertainment Group Inc. happily launched their brand new studio space in Liberty Village, Toronto. The 6,000 sq ft multi-media state of the art facility surpasses other studios of its kind in the city, offering musicians, producers, filmmakers, and editors the ultimate in audio and visual production, while mixing innovative design with functionality.
The event was managed by Strut Entertainment, and was a classy affair that allowed media and star power the opportunity to view the studio, consisting of a large foyer, modern kitchen, master bathroom, event room, and various studios, including a 1,600 sq. ft. live room which houses 3 isolated booths for sound control, including an expansive drum room.
Sponsored in part by SOOS Rocks Accessories, iBFrank, Smart Water/Vitamin Water, Performance Health Center, Hennessy, and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. the event boasted champagne and Belvedere Vodka with blood orange juice, among a delicious spread that included among other things, poutine with blue cheese, cheesecake, and toasted marshmallows on sticks.
In attendance was Chief Production Officer Maurice Jones, Head of Maple Music Allen Reid, and Nicole Holness from MTV, as well as Master T, Kortney and Dave Wilson from CMT's "Meet the Wilsons", comedienne Nicole Arbour, rockers Rides Again and crooners Andrew Cole, Gary Beals and Sean Jones to name but a few.
SOOS Rocks Accessories designers were on hand to gift event-goers with a piece of their rock-inspired neckchains, while Warner Bros. provided DVDs as part of the gift bag. .
All in all it was an enjoyable evening as well as a successful launch for the new unrivaled entertainment studio, which will no doubt see a variety of production uses in the coming months.
